Throughout the year, the Humane Society of Henderson County holds many adoption events, fundraisers and community events, all of which are organized and run by the Board of Directors and volunteers.
We are always looking for dependable volunteers we can count on to help!

Volunteer Opportunities
Love dogs? Come lend a paw! We always need volunteers to help walk our sweet shelter pups. Just a little of your time means the world to them - fresh air, wagging tails and lots of love guaranteed!
Two dog walking shifts are available every day of the week:
1st Shift: 9 AM - 11 AM
2nd Shift: 3 PM to 5 PM
